The Papente is a ground-handling wing specially designed to make learning easier for children. Its unique geometry and airfoil have been developed specifically for young pilots, helping them build confidence, learn naturally and discover the joy of handling a wing from an early age.
Thanks to its design, the Papente is naturally stable and automatically returns overhead. There is no need to pull on the A-risers to inflate it, and a frontal collapse is impossible.
A carefully designed brake range helps prevent accidental stalls, both in still air and in breezy conditions.
As the wind picks up, its profile is designed to deform when needed, helping reduce power as much as possible. Yet in still air, it remains remarkably efficient — and that is where the real beauty of the design lies.
Available in a 5 m² size, it is suitable for children aged 5 and over, under adult supervision.
This wing has been designed exclusively for ground play and introductory ground handling under the supervision of a competent adult.
Although inspired by the technology and behaviour of a modern paraglider, it is not certified for flight and must under no circumstances be used for take-off or any form of flight, even at low height.
We cannot guarantee the user’s safety in the event of improper use, misuse, or any use that does not comply with the product’s intended purpose. Any attempt to fly or use the wing in unsuitable weather or wind conditions is undertaken entirely at the user’s own risk and responsibility, or that of their legal guardian or supervising adult.
This remains an outdoor activity that may involve certain risks. The use of appropriate protective equipment, including a helmet, suitable protection and proper footwear, is strongly recommended, as is practising in an open area and in light wind conditions.
Designed exclusively for fun, ground-based wing handling and learning.
